Hayes Campus Open Day in Barra Hall Park

Saturday was another busy day for me with a flash mob demonstration with local residents and campaigners in Heathrow Terminal one against the third runway, an open day in Barra Hall Park theatre for local students from the Hayes Campus of Uxbridge College, a Versaikhi celebration with the local Sikh Arts and Culture Society and a symposium on peace convened by the Hayes Ahmadya Muslim Society.

The Hayes Campus Open Day gave the students the opportunity of showing off their skills in a wide range of music, dance and even stand up comedy performances. The students were brilliant. I filmed one of the acts, the local student band called Quarantine. The band is superb and were really well received.
