Heathrow Special Needs Farm, Longford

Earlier this month I visited the open day at Heathrow Special Needs Farm in Longford. The farm provides a great opportunity for local children and schools to learn all about how a farm operates, how to care for animals and the environment. It is specially adapted for children with special needs. The farm is run by volunteers on a charitable basis, raising all its funds from donations, sponsorships and fund raising events. It deserves our support. This week I received my certificate for sponsoring Clyde, an anglo nubian goat at the farm. You can meet Clyde on my film of the farm.
