Local Celebration of 125 Years of Boys Brigade
Today (Saturday 4th October) I attended the celebration party organised by the Hayes Boys Brigade to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Boys Brigade.
Locally the Boys Brigade and the Girls Brigade are very popular. Based at Hayes End Methodist Church the Brigades operate like a local youth club and children really enjoy the wide range activities provided. The Brigades wouldn’t function so successfully without the hard work and determination of a very active and dedicated team of adult volunteers.
