No Third Runway Campaigners Join the Climate Change Demonstration

On Saturday campaigners from the No Third Runway Campaign joined the national Climate Change demonstration in Parliament Square. The demonstration was very big with thousands of people marching on this annual event to draw attention to the need for urgent action by the Government to stop climate change.

I spoke at the rally at the end of the demonstration and reiterated the theme of our local campaigners that although we welcome the Government’s new Climate Change Act we need actions not just words.

That must mean the Government rejecting a third runway at Heathrow.

I interviewed some of our local No Third Runway campaigners on the march.
