The Hayes Working Men’s Club has launched a petition to secure a bus route down Pump Lane. We have tried over the years to get a bus route extended to the bottom of Pump Lane to serve the local residents in that area and the shops, office, factories and the Working Men’s Club. The Club has gained the support of the local Townfield councillors, Lynne Allen, Tony Eginton and Robin Sansapuri. I fully support this campaign and interviewed Alan Grover from the Club. If you would like to add your support please email me with your name and address and I will ensure that you are included in the petition. The petition will be presented to the leader of Hillingdon Council and the Mayor for London, who is responsible for Transport for London and thus in deciding London’s bus routes.

I would like to see the 207 extended to the Grapes and along Coldharbour Lane to Hayes Station.
Many passengers comming from the Southall direction of the Uxbridge Road require a bus to Hayes Town; they currently have to alight from a 427 or 607 at the Grapes and walk a fare distance to the Hesa Road bus stop in Coldharbour in order to catch a 140, E6 or 90 towards Hayes Station.
The 207 Terminates in at the isolated Ossie Garvin Roundabout. Many passengers would benefit if it were to be extended as I suggest.
Having a bus service turning by the Grapes would be nothing new as there was a bus service linking Hayes Bridge and Hayes Station for many years until the 208 was withdrawn. Before that there was the 207A.
