Public Meeting on Thursday on Latest Position on 3rd Runway

I have convened a public meeting on Thursday (29th October) at 7.30pm at Heathrow Primary School in Harmonsdworth Lane, Sipson to discuss the latest position on the 3rd Runway and the opening of the Bond Scheme by BAA. All local residents are welcome. It is always difficult to estimate how many people will turn up and the school hall is the largest hall I can find so if there is not enough room for everyone I will convene a second meeting. With the assistance of volunteers we are currently distributing a leaflet throughout the villages. Please do let your neighbours know about the meeting.

Residents in the Property Market Bond Scheme area have also been invited to meet with BAA representatives to discuss the Property Market Bond scheme. These drop in sessions are to be held at the Heathrow Academy, Newall Road, Heathrow on the following dates/times
Monday 26th October -  09.00 -12.00
Tuesday 27th October 17.00 -19.3.0
Wednesday 28th October 14.30. -17.00

Dear Mr. Mcdonnell,
Due to unforseen circumstances I was unable to attend the meeting for residents with reference to BAA’s intentioin to purchase properties effected with the proposed 3rd runway. I have been a resident in Harmondsworth residing at 13 Zealand Avenue since 1996 and lived in the Village prior to this since the late 1980’s.
Over the years I have undertaken various consultation letters and schemes including the ‘Property Market Support Bond’ and ‘Home Owner Support Scheme’. These were both completed as way back as in Sept 2004. Various correspondances were forthcoming thereafter but nothing materilized there after. I am currently in a situation like many others facing uncertainty and to where I stand in terms of my property. I would like to move with my family but feel this ongoing processes is delaying and effecting me moving.
I have completed numerous surveys and quetionnaires stating that I am willing to sell my property to BAA but have had no replies or updates. As my local MP I look to yourself for guidence and advice on where I stand, and how I can proceed. One of the documents that were provided by BAA state:-
’ The BAA Home Owner Support Scheme would provide a legally-binding, fully transferable Guarantee that would enable effected property owners, within a defined boundary, to require BAA Heathrow to buy their property for its market value (as it would have been if no new runway had been proposed)...
I have had various valuations since 2004 onwards from an array of estate agents. As I was told my property lies within the boundary for both the Bond and scheme I wish to know how can I excerise my wish to sell my property to BAA.
This would allow myself and family to move on with our lives rather than being handcuffed and delayed tactics that is only benefiting BAA.
Any assistance and guidance would be much appreciated.
Yours Sincerely
Mr. K.Heer
