I had to take this website down for the election and since then I have been frenetically busy in dealing with local and national issues with the result that I have not posted on the site since the election. Apologies for this gap. Over the next few days I will be loading up on the website a selection of various videos of my activities in Parliament and participation in local events. Please do let me have your views on these or any other issues you feel I should be addressing locally or in Parliament. Best wishes, John

well done for what you said about the students, and them having no alternative to Direct Action. They haven’t, and neither does anyone else reeling under this cvuts onslaught - the poor, the elderly, the disabled, the sick, the low paid. The REAL violence is what the condems are visiting on millions of working class lives.

Well done. I accept that you are busy, and unlike most MP’s you represent the general Public feeling that we should withdraw from Afghanistan. This is an important issue that demonstrates the lack of democracy and working class representation in this country.

I’m confused about your comments. You seem to have time to tweet, but not post on your website, so I expect little response. I was under the impression your government introduced the unfair and prejudiced tuition fees which make it harder for less privileged students to get the best education, so it seems deeply hypocritical to be supporting people protesting them now. Perhaps you thought Labour headquarters were still in Millbank and were supporting the students in storming that?
I would hope our politicians could have convictions and stand by them, but this is plainly not the case for you,

Dear Mr McDonell
I have heard loads of good things about you and your work in hayes community. I lived at UB8 3FE and I was so happy to see that I was under your constituency, but when I called your office to book an appointment on one of your surgery I was told that I was not in your constituency. I have always voted for Labour and now I was told to see Mp Randall who is conservative. Please help me, I would like to meet you for an immigration issue, I am so desperate. God bless you!
Thank you.
