Turning On Hayes Christmas Lights

We turned on the Christmas lights in Hayes town centre today (Thursday.)

I invited the actor Mark Jones to turn on the lights. Mark is one of the stars in the pantomine at our local Beck Theatre in Hayes this year. He is playing the part of Smee in Peter Pan.

Mark is a brilliant entertainer. I saw him in last year’s Beck panto and he was really funny for all ages. He very kindly agreed to come along in full costume to switch on the lights.

The children from Minet Junior School braved the cold to sing beautifully a range of Christmas carols.
