John McDonnell MP attended this save the ILF protest outside the Royal Courts of Justice. The vigil was in support of three ILF recipients who are taking the government to court again to try and keep the fund open.

John said ‘Lord Freud and Lord Tebbit have confirmed what many believe is a Conservative desire to introduce a new modern form of Feudalism with Baron’s being replaced by corporations, serfs being replaced by ordinary working people and slaves replaced by people on workfare and people with disabilities. It confirms their brutal willingness to exploit even the most vulnerable within our society’.
