I would like to personallythank you for turning up on Friday to vote in favour of the Private Members’ Bill on international aid – we are so grateful for your support.

All of us at Oxfam are delighted that this vote means the Bill will progress through to the House of Lords and continue its passage to the statute book. This is one step closer to keeping our promise to the world’s poorest people and saving many more lives with UK aid.

We very much appreciate that you stayed in Westminster to vote – especially on a Friday in such a busy season.

Once again, thank you for your hard work and support on this – we looking forward to working with you again soon and hopefully celebrating the enshrinement of this legislation into law before the end of this Parliament.
